Never Give Up On Your Dreams…

In 2019, I was on top of the world. Undefeated Bellator Champion defeating a legend on his turf as a huge underdog.
Only a couple people knew what I was going through leading up to that fight. I thought I would be able to continue & defend what I had worked my whole life for, but multiple commissions came in & said that they would never let me fight again.

To say I was devastated is an understatement.
It took everything I had to stay positive & never give up hope that I would have one last chance to show my life’s work & go out on my terms.

I went back to Jiu-Jitsu competition at nearly 40yrs old, challenging myself against the best in the world & keeping myself ready for an opportunity while starting a family at the same time.
It looked like that moment would never come, but I kept believing somehow it would...

Finally, 3.5 years after I won the title, I got to wrap my hands & put those little gloves on one more time & fight in the land of the Samurai.

Fighting on NYE in Tokyo was my dream since I was a kid & I believe it is the dream for pretty much every martial artist.
The great Will Harris was there to document the whole journey with my team & family & he became part of the family too.

This film represents my whole life of martial arts.
I was never supposed to be who I am today, but I DREAMED BIG & NEVER GAVE UP.
